Two men with ties to southwestern Connecticut are breathing sighs of relief this evening in the wake of a mass shooting at a Colorado movie theater. A lone gunman walked into the Century 16 theater in Aurora, Colo., which was packed for a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises." He allegedly tossed a gas canister before firing into the crowd. Dave Streit, of Redding, has family not far from Aurora, and Ken Greenberg, of Denver, says his son is a student at Sacred Heart University, but was home seeing the movie at a different theater. Streit says he called his loved ones, who are safe and sound. Greenberg's son is also fine. Both men say they are thankful and will attempt to help the grieving families as much as possible.
