A Milford man is in the hospital undergoing psychological evaluation after police say he made a threat against Jonathan Law High School.
Officers say James Piccirillo, 48, did not threaten anyone in particular, and police determined that there is no current threat to the community. They say they searched his home and seized firearms and commercial-grade fireworks.
A neighbor of Piccirillo's described him as quick-tempered and says he would verbally abuse her.
Police say they have an arrest warrant for Piccirillo and will take him into custody when he's released from the hospital. They say that's when they will be able to release more information on the threat.
