Jersey City swears in 16 new firefighters – among them, Springsteen’s son

The Jersey City Fire Department swore in 16 new firefighters on Tuesday – among them, Bruce Springsteen’s son Sam Springsteen.
“The Boss” sat in the front row, along with his wife Patti Scialfa at Jersey City City Hall. Mayor Steven Fulop and other city officials were also present.
Springsteen told reporters at the ceremony that “we're very proud" and that "we're just excited for [our son] today.”
The new group brings the city's total to 666 firefighters, it's largest ever.
