A spokeswoman for actor Jon Hamm says he recently completed treatment for alcohol addiction at the Silver Hill treatment facility in New Canaan.
The statement says Hamm and his partner Jennifer Westfeldt are asking for "privacy and sensitivity going forward."
The final season of "Mad Men" premieres on AMC next month.
