Fire officials made a difficult rescue in Litchfield after a kayaker's watercraft overturned.
The incident happened at White Memorial Little Pond.
When crews arrived, they found the victim stuck in thick mud.
Some good Samaritans were assisting the victim before rescuers took over.
They were able to bring the kayaker to shore.
No injuries were reported.
