Manhattan College's Lady Jaspers tried to break a losing streak when the team took on Ivy League powerhouse the University of Pennsylvania.
The Jaspers had a 27-22 lead at one point in the game. Penn eventually beat Manhattan in a close game with a final score of 61-58.
Manhattan Head Coach Mindy Hill has a long road ahead to hone her players' skills. The team has no seniors and is a young squad that must grow together. The Jaspers' last win was December 8. Manhattan has an overall 4-10 record so far this year.
