Lamont: Connecticut hits 5,000 coronavirus-related deaths

BRIEFING UPDATES:
-CT positivity rate at 4.4%.
-Hospitalizations have gone up by 81.
-59 fatalities. The state has reached more than 5,000 COVID-related deaths.
-Dozens of CT doctors sent a letter to Gov. Ned Lamont urging him to close indoor dining and gyms. Lamont says there is no easy answer.
-Lamont says residents have been doing the right thing so there is no need currently to close gyms or indoor dining, but if cases continue to rise, they would be next to close.
-Lamont says teachers would be in the front of the line from his point of view when it comes to getting the vaccine first.
-71% of the 8,000 Hospital beds in CT are occupied.
