Gov. Ned Lamont announced Wednesday that the second phase of reopening Connecticut is expected to begin June 20.
He says he will closely be watching the metrics over the next few weeks in case reopening needs to be pushed back.
Phase 2 will include gyms, amusement parks, movie theaters and possibly indoor dining reopening.
Certain youth sports and camps will also be able to reopen.

Lamont says COVID-19 is a fast-changing situation, and people need to be prepared to adapt.
He says Phase 3 would be at least four weeks after Phase 2, and could include bars, indoor amusement parks and event spaces.
Lamont says throughout the reopening process, he's encouraging businesses and residents to self-police.
He says if you see someone not following the rules, you can dial 211 for enforcement.
