The case of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed teenager, shot and killed in Florida has ignited an uproar across the nation including here in Connecticut.
The president of the Stamford chapter of the NAACP says George Zimmerman's arrest is good news.
Jack Bryant says many Americans have been waiting for the announcement and holding a trial must be comforting news to Martin's family.
Martin's parents have said they're relieved that Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder.
Zimmerman's lawyer is asking everyone not to be quick to judge until the facts are presented.
