Jessica McCormack and her friend Amber Smith started Fairfield Moms 4 ½ years ago and quickly gained a social media following.

"We host events, we promote events, we promote local businesses, we feature different moms and dads in the area," said McCormack.

Her love for the community and DIY projects led her to open a shop on Post Road in Fairfield.

"I own AR Workshop with my neighbor Michelle Shul. There was nothing like this around," said McCormack.

The duo hosts events like "ladies night out, summer camps, birthday parties, fund raisers, we'll go off-site and do events," she said.

AR Workshop has become a go-to spot for adults and children to tap into their creativity.
