Leaders at Fairfields two high schools, Fairfield Warde and Fairfield Ludlow, thought they could start their graduation ceremonies early Monday and beat the weather. The weather won.

As students made their way in their cap and gown to get their diplomas, the sky opened up and rain poured down on graduates, faculty and family members.
