It's time to turn the clocks back this weekend, but one group is suggesting that Connecticut stay on Daylight Savings Time year-round.
A Massachusetts state commission is recommending that New England move from Eastern Time to Canada's Atlantic Time Zone.
The move would mean later sunsets during the winter, but it would also put Connecticut an hour ahead of New York City for half the year, causing issues for commuters.
Lawmakers in Maine have voted on the change. In Connecticut, the move got a public hearing in Hartford this year but never made it out of a legislative committee.
