Stratford police say one of its busiest sections of Main Street was reopened after being closed most of the day due to a water main break.
Officials say the pipe burst at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday near the train station at the intersection of Main Street and Broadbridge Avenue.
The Aquarion Water Company says service was shut off to about 25 businesses in the area while repairs were made.
