A Pleasantville, NY woman has been charged with assaulting several elderly relatives in Westport, according to police.

Megan Greenlee, 50, was taken into custody on Feb. 25. on charges including two counts of assault of an elderly person, two counts of assault in the second degree, failure to appear in the second degree and failure to comply with fingerprinting requirements.

Westport police said officers responded to two calls involving people experiencing similar symptoms within their homes.

Three relatives of Greenlee were ultimately transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Through an investigation and interview with the patients impacted, officers identified Greenlee as the cause of the symptoms experienced by the patients.

The investigation led detectives to a communal water container within the patient’s home that contained unknown sediment.

The water was collected and tested by the Connecticut State Forensic Laboratory, where prescription medication was found.

Through this testing, Greenlee was linked to the medications.

Greenlee was the subject of an active court-ordered arrest warrant for failure to appear in court in the second degree.

The woman was reported as uncooperative by police and refused to be fingerprinted, adding a charge of failure to comply with fingerprinting requirements.

Greenlee had been residing in a town within New York state despite multiple attempts to contact her about the active warrant; she was unresponsive to police.

Greenlee was first taken into custody on Feb. 11 by Westchester County police and then transferred to Westport on Feb. 25.

Her bond was set at $10,000, which she was unable to post.

She was transported to Stamford Superior Court and arraigned on Feb. 26.
