A man was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting inside a Bridgeport barbershop that happened in October, police say.
Tavares Jefferson, 43, of Bridgeport, was arrested Thursday and charged with multiple crimes including, murder, possession of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Jefferson is accused of fatally shooting Jamain Allen on Oct. 2 at the Quick Stop barber shop.
Police say Jefferson shot and killed Allen and wounded a second employee of the barber shop.
Jefferson is being held on a $1 million bond pending his arraignment in court.
