Norwalk police say one man is facing charges after sending officers on a chase and having crack cocaine in his possession.
Police arrested Darryl Johnson Saturday.
They say they received a complaint about drug dealing in the area of Fort Point Street and Seaview Avenue.
When officers arrived, they say they saw Johnson walk toward a parked car, open the door and take something.
Police say he then began walking away from the officers who asked him to stop and then took off.
Officers say they saw Johnson dump several bags of drugs during the chase.
They say when they caught him, the officers recovered the bags and found nearly 16 grams of crack cocaine.
