Police say a man remains in critical condition after a shooting Sunday morning.
It happened near Stratford and Carroll avenues.
Police say the man was talking to someone in a car when another vehicle drove by and opened fire. He was shot in the abdomen, hip and leg.
The man managed to crawl into a nearby deli and wait for help to arrive, according to authorities.
The victim spent Sunday in surgery, and police say it appears he will pull through.
"I'm praying," says Wayne Winston, a friend of the victim's family. "When you pull out guns and shoot each other, that destroys our community."
Police say the shooting was captured on surveillance video, and they hope to make an arrest in the case shortly.
