The man who shot a Stamford police officer in the face back in 2010 over a search warrant was sentenced today to 25 years in prison.
Ephraim Goitom was sentenced in a plea agreement covering the shooting as well as state and federal drug charges.
Numerous officers were in court to show their support for Sgt. Richard Gasparino, who was shot.
Gasparino has since recovered and returned to the police force.
