A man put his artistic skills to good use to propose to his girlfriend during their Westport art class.
Jason Rancourt proposed to Alison Cavallaro last Sunday.
At the end of the class, the group took a picture with all their paintings. But Rancourt had switched out his painting for one that read, "Alison, will you marry me?"
Rancourt says the secret almost got out right before he proposed, and he had to shush some fellow classmates so his now-fiancee wouldn't know what was about to happen.
A specific wedding date hasn't been set, but Rancourt says he hopes for sometime in 2017.
