Police in Bridgeport are searching for the person who shot and killed a man in broad daylight Thursday.
Several witnesses say they heard at least three to four gunshots near the intersection of Newfield Avenue and Adams Street around 2:30 p.m. When police arrived, 22-year-old Jonathan Key was lying on the sidewalk next to a car. He was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital where he died from his wounds.
Police say the fatal shots were the culmination of an argument between Key and the shooter.
A police dog was brought in to help track the suspect. Witnesses say they saw a man drive away in car, but didn't have many details.
