Man killed in motorcycle crash in Trumbull remembered as a 'gentle soul'

State police say the father of nine children, who had been living in Naugatuck for the past few years, died when a vehicle struck his motorcycle on Route 25 South in Trumbull on Wednesday.

A vigil was held in Bridgeport on Friday in memory of a man killed in a motorcycle accident in Trumbull.
Abraham Martinez, 43, was a member of the Free Riders Motorcycle Club in the East End of Bridgeport, where Martinez was born and raised.
His friends and family gathered to celebrate his legacy.
State police say the father of nine children, who had been living in Naugatuck for the past few years, died when a vehicle struck his motorcycle on Route 25 South in Trumbull on Wednesday.
The Harding High School graduate's family told News 12 they're devastated by his tragic “senseless death.”
"Because he was such a lovely human being and person, so I felt for all of those that he impacted and he impacted many throughout the city," said Martinez’ lifelong friend, Vernon Thompson.
