A Stratford man is being hailed as a hero after he saved a man whose car plunged into a marsh.Peter Procyk says he was driving on Lordship Boulevard near Sikorsky Airport when he noticed a car on the other side of the road suddenly disappeared. He says he turned around at the airport and noticed the SUV turned on its side in the water.Procyk says he dialed 911 and then jumped in the water to check on the driver. He says he propped up the victim and kept his head above water until help arrived. The fire department says the driver of the SUV was taken to Bridgeport Hospital.
