A Milford man was sentenced today to seven years in prison for trying to hire a hit man to kill his ex-wife.
Earlier this year, Gregory Christofakis pleaded guilty under the Alford Doctrine, which means he does not admit guilt but acknowledges there's enough evidence to convict him.
Police say Christofakis tried to hire an undercover officer to kill his ex and assault his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.
Christofakis' girlfriend at the time, Ziba Guy, was sentenced to more than four years in prison in October.
