Man told police he was using BB gun for 'target practice' at Darien park
A man found using an air rifle for target practice inside of a Darien park was arrested after he ran from police, officials say.

yesterdayA man found using an air rifle for target practice inside of a Darien park was arrested after he ran from police, officials say.
Police say they found 20-year-old Peter McMaster in Woodland Park after getting reports of a man with a gun.
They say McMaster put the rifle on the ground when encountered by officials, but then picked it up and ran for the woods.
He was found a short time later without the gun, and police say he refused to say where it was.
A K-9 unit found the gun, which turned out to be an air rifle.
McMaster had a paper target on him at the time and told booking officers he went to the park to practice.
