Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas is now releasing the radio calls from the night of the attack, where 58 people were killed, and hundreds others injured.
Stephen Paddock fired from his hotel room first into a hotel hallway, then into the group of thousands of concertgoers.
"Call the police. Someone's firing a gun up here. Someone's firing a rifle on the 32nd floor down the hallway."
"Base to. Security wants to know if you know a room."
"It's at the end of the hallway. I can't tell you what room. He looked like he fired down the hallway when I got close to the door."
According to a maintenance worker who reported the shooting, he was checking on a jammed door when he heard the shots.
Police are still trying to piece together a full timeline of the events.
Meanwhile, the federal government is sending help to the city in the wake of the deadly mass shooting.
President Trump says the government is giving $1 million to the city.
The money will help pay for law enforcement costs, including overtime hours, for officers who responded to the melee.
