Metro-North says it is ready for the impending snowstorm.
The agency hasn't announced any schedule changes, but that depends on the storm's trajectory through the area.
Railroad officials say they have more than 200 snowblowers on standby, as well as heaters and de-icers for the tracks.
Riders say they are not too concerned about the trains during the storm. Many say they were planning on staying home Saturday, anyway.
New for this year, Metro-North is rolling out emergency response trailers. The railroad has three of the trailers, and they can be sent anywhere there are downed trees or power lines along the tracks.
