Metro-North requires all riders to wear masks on trains

The transit agency says beginning at 8 p.m. last night, anyone without a mask or face covering will not be allowed to ride.

Metro-North on Friday began requiring all riders to cover their noses and mouths when they ride the train.
The transit agency says beginning at 8 p.m. last night, anyone without a mask or face covering will not be allowed to ride.
Metro-North did not say how the new policy would be enforced.
Trains are running once an hour and are intended for essential workers who cannot drive to work.
