Facial hair may still be a hot trend for men in 2016, but some men say they prefer a smooth shave. And for a smooth-as-silk shave, there's a new business in Milford.
Susan Hushin recently opened BBS Shave Studio, located at 58 River St. The "BBS" stands for baby butt smooth, according to her.
Hushin's father and grandfather were both barbers on Long Island and, after running a cleaning business for 30 years, she decided to do what she always wanted to do: open her own barbershop.
The shave is obviously important, Hushin says, but the overall experience is even more so. The roughly 20- to 30-minute shaves are intended to be relaxing for customers.
Hot-towel shaves start at $25.
