Milford's Board of Education has approved funding to cover costs following the stabbing death of a student at Jonathan Law High School.
The board voted to transfer $20,000.
Those funds will pay for the extra expenses associated with helping students and staff recover after the traumatic incident.
Officials had to call in grief counselors for students and staff following the April stabbing that left 16-year-old Maren Sanchez dead.
A classmate, Christopher Plaskon, 17, has been charged with murder.
