Milford police say a man approached several young girls and attempted to lure them into his car.
They say it happened near Edgemont Park Wednesday, but one of the victims, who is 12, says the same man had approached her on another occasion several months earlier.
"He was trying to get us to take $100 to get close to his car," she says. News 12 is withholding her identity to protect her safety.
Police say parents should be vigilant in the area.
They describe the car as light blue with four doors. They say the suspect is a white man between 20 and 30 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. He was clean shaven and wearing a Polo shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
