Several people are displaced following a fire that destroyed a mobile home Saturday in Newtown, Botsford fire officials say.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. on South Main Street.
When firefighters arrived, they found the home engulfed in flames and a propane tank with the relief valve was going off near the entrance of the home.
No one was inside when the fire broke out.
A firefighter who entered the home became entangled in wires and had to be cut out by another firefighter, officials say.
Officials say although the home is considered a loss, the homeowners were able to salvage some of their possessions.
While no one was injured, an unknown number of small reptilian animals died in the fire, officials say.
Nearby home and cars also sustained heat damage.
