The threat of heavy rainfall has many in southwestern Connecticut worried more flooding may be in store.Residents in Darien are watching Stony Brook Creek fearing that the rainfall may lead to the creek?s swelling and subsequent flooding. Houses and properties close to the creek could face further damage if it floods again, which could pose financial risks to families without flood insurance.Other residents are concerned about their health. One family in the community says they?re scared about the air they are breathing in after seeing the results from a mold kit. Much of southwestern Connecticut was hit with 2-3 inches of rain as of noon Friday. Heavy rainfall is predicted for the rest of the day, followed by showers into the evening. Meteorologists predict the area will not dry out until the weekend.
