Dry, warmer today in Connecticut; more rain returns midweek

NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jonathan Cubit says Monday and Tuesday start with sunshine. Morning chill in the air will diminish as the day progresses. Clouds move in late Tuesday. We stay dry until Wednesday where we'll experience rain throughout the day. Highs in the mid to upper 60s, low 70s.
NEXT: We can expect about half to a full inch of rain through Wednesday. Looks like spotty showers to start the day before steadier to heavier showers heading into Wednesday night. We seem to finish the week quiet with highs at or around 70, mostly clouds but dry.
MONDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 66.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy. Isolated afternoon showers. Warmer. Highs near 72.
WEDNESDAY: Moderate rain. Cooler. Highs near 65.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy. Highs near 70.
FRIDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 68.
