17h agoA motorcyclist was seriously injured following a crash involving an SUV that ejected him from his bike in Stamford, police say.
The crash happened Monday night on East Main Street, between Seaside and Weedavenuesaround 7:55 p.m.
The area was closed for several hours.
Police say the SUV was attempting to make a turn whenit collided with the motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider, a 53-year-old man, was ejected from the bike and taken to the hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
Anyone who may have seen the crash is asked to call the Stamford Police's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad at (203) 977-4712.
