Hundreds of mourners arrived outside the Our Lady of Montserrat Monday to pay their respects to Daniel Villenda, 16, who was shot and killed last week.
Friends and family say that they are still shocked by his death. Police say Villenda was going to visit his friend, when he was accidentally shot and killed by his friend's brother in their apartment.
Franklin Emilcar, 20, has been charged with manslaughter and is being held on a $750,000 bond.
In memory of Villenda, his football team is wearing dark pins as a tribute to him and has also been collecting money for his family.
