A beloved member of the News 12 Connecticut family has died.
Assignment Desk Editor Larry Roberg died unexpectedly Wednesday after a brief illness.
Larry worked for News 12 Connecticut for 32 years, longer than anyone else in the history of the station.
While he never went in front of the camera, his dedication to news gathering and organization played a key role in the newscasts viewers watch every day on News 12.
We will miss Larry's wit, his "terrible," yet funny jokes, and most especially the smile that greeted anyone anytime they were in his presence.
