New Jersey American Water is testing samples, changing its treatment process and flushing its system - 10 days after a chemical spill into the Raritan River affected drinking water for dozens of towns.
The spill caused water in dozens of towns to smell and taste different.
The spill came from a facility in Branchburg, M&U International, which re-packages fragrances, essential oils, and flavorings.
NJ American Water and state environmental officials say the water is safe to drink.
