A community group in Norwalk is celebrating the grand reopening of its new office.
Alliance For Community Empowerment has moved the Norwalk location from Water Street to Main Street.
Alliance provides energy assistance and help with employment training and job searches, along with youth and early learning services.
The group says the new location is in a more centralized area, which will help reach more people.
"It's so important that community members can get to us through public transportation, walking distance. Now as we enter our recovery mode of COVID, our resources are going to be essential for folks to get back on their feet, so we have to be accessible," says Executive Director Dr. Monette Ferguson.
Alliance serves eight towns and cities in the state.
The agency was formerly known as ABCD.
