Police in Norwalk are searching for thousands of dollars' worth of sports memorabilia, including a New York Mets World Series championship ring that was stolen from a home.
Investigators say a homeowner on Knob Hill Road returned home late last night to find someone had broken in through a sliding glass door.
Officials say a 100-pound safe containing the memorabilia and other documents was missing.
Cash and watches were also reported stolen.
