The city of Norwalk recognized Holocaust Remembrance Week with a special ceremony this morning.
Mayor Dick Moccia presented three local rabbis with proclamations on behalf of the city.
To coincide with the ceremony, a documentary depicting the holocaust played in the City Hall atrium.
Mayor Moccia says the lessons of the holocaust should never be forgotten.
Approximately 6 million European Jews died in the state-sponsored genocide by Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler during World War II.
