A Bronx woman was found not guilty Tuesday in a Southport pot bust from two years ago.
Police had accused Joan Mitchell, 47, of having 24 pounds of drugs delivered to a home on Main Street, where she worked as a nurse's aide for an elderly resident.
Officers said three packages were flagged as suspicious by FedEx at their shipping center in Norwalk. FedEx then notified police, and their K-9 Ruger uncovered the contents of the packages.
Police followed the package to its destination and said they saw Mitchell receive the package.
