(AP) - Connecticut state police say a Long Islandwoman has been run over by her own SUV after she fell out of it ata rest stop off Interstate 95. Troopers say her injuries arelife-threatening.
State police say Alyce McGuire of Farmingville and a passengerwere at the rest stop on the Milford-Orange line off the northboundside of the highway Sunday morning, when McGuire fell out forunknown reasons while the vehicle was in reverse.
The 68-year-old McGuire is being treated at Yale-New HavenHospital.
Troopers say McGuire apparently wasn't wearing her seat belt.
Authorities say the accident shocked the passenger, who was toodistraught to give details at the scene.
