3h agoThe body of a Westport man who disappeared after going for a hike in upstate New York has been found.
Local news agencies reported police recovered the body of 63-year-old Thomas Howard Friday.
Howard was last seen March 11 near Mount Colden, just south of Lake Placid.
Howard was reportedly planning on hiking along a trail known for its potentially dangerous conditions.
A preliminary cause of death was not released.
