A woman is recovering after being burned in a house fire in Bridgeport, according to officials.
It happened just before 9 p.m. Monday at a multifamily home on Norman Street.
Smoke could be seen coming out of the top of the house.
Officials say the injured woman suffered burns to her hands and feet.
Firefighters say a furnace in the basement may have sparked the fire.
