A camper van caught fire early Friday morning in Watertown, fire officials say.

Firefighters received a call around 3:15 a.m. for a fully involved camper fire that possibly spread to the home on Middlebury Road.

When crews from Watertown and Middlebury arrived, they found the engulfed van in the driveway and the flames had spread to the side of the home.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it extended to other parts of the residence.

The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
