Residents of one Stamford condominium are displaced after an early morning fire Sunday.
Officials say flames broke out inside one unit around 3:00 a.m. on Forest Street.
While crews were able to control the fire in less than 45 minutes, there was significant fire, smoke and water damage to the unit, deeming it unsafe for reoccupation.
The residents who were affected are being assisted by the Red Cross, while the rest of the evacuated residents were allowed to return to their homes.
One firefighter was injured but has since been treated and released.
