A man was rescued from the dam at Beardsley Park in Bridgeport Sunday, officials say.
It happened just before 6 a.m. Authorities received a report that a man was in the dam and was yelling for assistance.
The man was successfully rescued and placed under the care of American Medical Response.
Officials did not provide any information on the man's condition.
