Officials in New York said a 14-year-old from Stratford has been charged with murder in a deadly shooting that took place in Yonkers, New York.
The Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that the teen was charged and arraigned on Thursday for the shooting that happened on Aug. 26, 2024, at Doyle Park.
The teen shot and killed Daquan Glenn and injured another victim.
Cacace said the second victim was discovered within a short distance with a gunshot wound to the leg but survived his injuries.
Officials stated that due to the shooter's age, he faces a maximum penalty of 15 years to life in state prison.
He is due to appear in court on Feb. 6.
