Orchard Beach prepares venue for Jennifer Lopez concert tonight

The Jennifer Lopez concert that is set to kick off tonight at 7 p.m. at Orchard Beach will be the first show as part of "State Farm's Neighborhood Sessions Music Series."
Jennifer Lopez has not yet arrived at Orchard Beach, but audio crews have been preparing for the concert with a sound check to make sure fans will be able to hear their favorite songs tonight.
Tonight will be the first time Lopez performs in the borough she grew up in, and organizers say this concert will give the Bronx diva the opportunity to say thank you.
Aside from J. Lo performing there will be several other music guests entertaining the crowd such as DJ Alex Sensation and as well as a variety of fun activities.
News 12 The Bronx spoke to fans who said that they are excited about tonight's concert.
About 25,000 tickets were sold or given away free of charge to the people of the Bronx.
