Organizers announced Monday that the annual Milford Harbor Duck Race, which draws thousands of people each year, has been canceled.
The event is spearheaded by St. Gabriel School.
The school announced in January that it will be closing at the end of the academic school year.
Organizers say the race usually takes three months of planning and more than 100 volunteers from St. Gabriel School.
